Time Aligned Cabinet Geometry

Curved front baffle aligns the sonic emanation point of the tweeter and woofer on a vertical plane ensuring sound from each driver reaches your ears at the exact same instant.

Maximizes phase coherence for a more convincing and immersive soundstage with pinpoint accuracy and imaging.

 

Diamond Coated Aluminum Dome Tweeter

Through a process called Vapor Deposition, a layer of diamond carbon is applied to the aluminum dome tweeters to vastly improve rigidity and acoustic properties.

This breakthrough in material science raises the frequency response well beyond the limits of human hearing resulting in effortless, airy, and unveiled highs with no measurable distortion.

The diamond coating also pushes low frequency extension of the tweeter deeper for more seamless blending with the midrange.

    Mightily Impressed...

    I've been shopping for a replacement for a well used pair of B&W CM7s that I've had for about 15 years. I tried a pair of Wharfdale Super Dentons based on the reviews of several people online. Was not impressed. Started looking at other options in that 1200 to 1500 price range and saw rave reviews from a lot of people on youtube and the audio sites for the Evolution Bookshelf Speakers and placed an order online on a Sunday, received a confirmation on Monday, speakers arrived on Tuesday! Great service.

    I hooked them up to my Oillily KT88 tube amplifier and let them just run on low volume for about four hours, not expecting much due to the set up page info I was emailed. Did the same thing the following day. What I heard the next evening when I sat down to listen to some music was shocking. I thought I had a really nice sounding system until that moment. First CD I played was Sarah Mclachlin's Closer. Ive listened to this CD many times over the years but could not believe what I was hearing...and the Evolutions hadn't even mildly had a chance "break in". As I listened longer they just kept getting better. I was listening to Adele's 21 CD and as if someone flipped a switch the clarity and sparkle of the treble just bloomed. To say I'm happy with my purchase would be an understatement.

    In a world where quality audio has become increasingly more expensive, this is a bargain.

    Needed and Upgrade

    I have been using an old set of KLH bookshelf speakers for the past 30 years. It was time for an upgrade. Really hard to compare. The SVS are so much better. I waited too long. I will be purchasing an Evolution center channel and subwoofer soon.

    The sound is fantastic

    I got my first stereo 60 years ago. And I kept up with advances all the way through the 80's. Not much since then until my nephew insisted that I was really past due. He picked out the speakers. I didn't expect a huge change. Well I was wrong. These little speakers are the closest I've ever heard to a live performance. Glad I had the chance to hear them while I'm still on this earth.

    And the service department is not only helpful but a downright pleasure to work with.
