SB-1000 Pro - Black Ash - Outlet - 2915

I have worked with a variety of vintage or older subwoofers with my 2.1 system. When I decided I needed both a home theater system and a dedicated music system I started searching for subwoofers. Watched all the youtube reviwes I could find. I also invested in using REW with chatGPT to guide me in doing measurements. My room is odd shaped and large but my front listening space is offset due to stairs and a door to a utility room. The SB1000 pro is tucked in the front right corner, an Epicure 250 sits in front of it. Measurements using REW show how well this "small" and easy to move subwoofer maximizes the inherent acoustic in the room. I tested several positions and the front corner makes this unit sound bigger than what the specs would say. Being 64 years old I LOVE how lightweight this cabinet is. Congrats to the SVS team on the app too! Sitting on my couch with REW changing phase, pairing with my left front and front right the ability to "test" into a great configuration without the "fiddling" with switches or knobs even surprised an old school hifi person like me -- Plus, if I ever believe I need more subwoofer the trade-up program allows me to do that, though I would likely buy another SVS as I can find a place for this small sub in other systems in my home -- though way too nice to move into the garage system.
